Neuro-Oncology is the multi-disciplinary specialty focused on the state-of-the-art treatment and advanced developmental research in brain and spinal cord neoplasm and many of which are very hazardous and life-threatening (glioma, pontine glioma, astrocytoma, ependymoma, glioblastoma multiforme and brain stem tumors).

Neurosurgery based on the surgical treatment of cancer influencing the CNS, brain and spine tumors, counting pituitary tumors and other injuries of the cranium base. Pediatric brain tumors are treated by multidisciplinary bunch counting pediatric oncologist, radiation oncologist and neurosurgeon.
