About 48th AGM & Scientific Session Of Association Of Psychiatrists

The Association will hold her Annual General Meeting and Scientific Meeting between the 20th – 24th of November, 2017, tagged “Jos 2017”.

The Theme of the conference “Mental Health in Social and Economic Crises: Impact on well-being and Psychiatry Care”, is apt and contextual. With the Economic recession in the Country, the Boko Haram insurgence in the North-east, cases of kidnapping all over the Country etc., the mental health implications need to be x-rayed and solutions proffered. The sub-themes are also relevant particularly the issue of substance use in females: a growing epidemic!
