About The 37th Scandinavian Congress of Rheumatology

It is a great pleasure for the Finnish Society for Rheumatology, on behalf of the Scandinavian Society for Rheumatology, to welcome you to the 37th Scandinavian Congress of Rheumatology, to be held on 5-8 September, 2018 in Helsinki, Finland

The Scandinavian Congress of Rheumatology is an important meeting for clinicians and scientists in the field of rheumatology to exchange knowledge, experience, and ideas and to promote collaboration and networking.

It is an opportunity for both young and established clinicians as well as scientists to meet across the Scandinavian borders. Besides being an important educational meeting for clinicians, we will collaborate with patient representatives of the Nordic Rheuma Council and with the Nordic health professionals.

The Congress is organized by the Scandinavian Society for Rheumatology and the Finnish Society for Rheumatology.

The Scandinavian scientific committee is responsible for the scientific program in close collaboration with the local Finnish scientific committee, with input from both senior and junior clinicians and scientists.

We are aiming to build a program that has its focus on clinical topics that are relevant for rheumatologists, with a special emphasis on Scandinavian collaborative programs within outcome and registry research and other areas where Scandinavian rheumatology can make important international contributions.

We hope the program will attract both young and established rheumatologists both from Scandinavia and other countries.
