About Dr. Aloke Mullick

Dr. Aloke Mullick is currently the Group CEO of Omni Hospitals, a South India based tertiary hospital chain where he is responsible for developing leadership excellence, creating operational and business transformation, and managing strategic growth. He has successfully mentored this chain’s various hospital leadership teams on benchmark-based cost containment, novel revenue growth, and data-based revenue leak avoidance strategies, leading to more than doubling of unit EBITDA within six months.

Before this, he was heading one of the largest Indian Corporate hospitals, the 1000 beds KIMS Hospital Minister Road, Hyderabad, where he delivered several business process and soft skills transformation projects apart from creating an Indian top 10 percentile EBIDTA through aggressive revenue management, benchmark-based cost management, and revenue leakage management.

As country Head of Mayapada Hospital Jakarta, Indonesia, he set up from scratch their flagship $ 100 million facilities, which is currently the number one tertiary care referral corporate hospital of Indonesia.

He has a passion for managing hospitals and healthcare technology. He has been a process excellence consultant at the 1,500 bedded SJD Hospital Netherlands and 2,000 beds Aachen University Hospital, Germany, and provided clinical transformation expertise as part of their massive EMR implementation programs. He has been an invited speaker in international fora and is an adviser to many Healthcare IT companies. He set up India’s first EHR Company and created India’s first Clinical Transformation doctrine, which was responsible for India’s first HIMSS-6 EHR implementation.

Dr. Mullick completed his Graduate Medical School from Allahabad and has a Masters in Surgery from AFMC Pune. He was a military surgeon with the Indian Army for nearly two decades.

Dr. Mullick has been practicing Heartfulness meditation for the past more than 20 years and is a certified Heartfulness Meditation Trainer. This practice has helped him immensely in finding a deeper purpose in life, in refining his own personality, in balancing the professional and personal aspects of life, in relating to different human beings with love, and in living life with joy and gratitude.
