About Nrip Nihalani
Nrip Nihalani is a Health Care Technology Evangelist. He is an advocate of using technology to improve Health care globally. Since 2012, Nrip has featured every year on the global HIT100 list, being the only Asian to do so.
He actively consults on a variety of private as well as public healthcare projects in India, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, South Africa, Cameroon and the United States. In a career of over 14 years Nrip has worked on projects in the areas of Improved Information Therapy, Collaborative Patient Work Groups, Healthcare Social Media, EMR Adoption, Syndromic Disease Surveillance, Patient Safety, eHealth and mHealth, Technology for Doctors and Telemedicine.
He is the Director of Product Management at Plus91 Technologies where he oversees the development of systems and technologies to simplify healthcare provision and improve the accuracy of technology-based health informatics.
He has a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the prestigious Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (Royal Institute of Technology), Stockholm. He has a Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Mumbai.
