Facilities for delegates:

A commodious lounge of 16,000 sq. ft. has been built outside the conference hall on the first floor for the use by Delegates. Knowing communication is of utmost importance to all delegates, the BMICH has set up an automatic telephone exchange on the ground floor fixed with 400 telephone connections. 10 direct telephone lines are dedicated for the Press, 10 for the public and another 10 direct lines connecting to the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation.

A separate delegation room equipped with a settee, 2 chairs, a writing-desk, centre table, cupboard and a telephone is provided to each delegation up to a maximum limit of 90 delegations.

An up-to-date library with volumes of literature on almost all subjects is available for the use of research for delegates visiting the BMICH. To facilitate with banking and postal needs, a Bank and a Postal Office are located on the Ground floor.
