About AHDI Annual Conference

The program will provide continuing education credits (CECs) for CMTs and CHDSs. The following is a list of the CEC categories that will be available:

CoM – Complementary Medicine
ML – Medicolegal Issues
MTT – Medical Transcription Tools
PD – Professional Development
TW – Technology and the Workplace

In addition to the program being pre-approved for CMTs and CHDSs to earn CECs, AHIMA credential holders can earn CEUs. This program has been approved for 20 continuing education units for use in fulfilling the continuing education requirements of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
